The only reason I'd go for the Congo pack over Amazon is because the Congo DLC is the only one that comes with a boat that has 2 rod holders, which can be useful everywhere else.Īnd fishing the same 3 spots for 30 days does become very boring after a while, but hey, do it once and you're set. Patrick's Day Event is on, rather farm for Rowdy Bass and Leprechaun Fish. So in summary, if you are prepared to spend real money, buy the Congo DLC. I guess the game developers make this so difficult on purpose to sell DLC's and make money somehow, seeing this game is free to play.
I eventually purchased the Congo Pack and in 2 weeks!!! went from Level 50 to currently Level 68 and have over 5 million in the bank by targeting Nile Perch and Tigerfish. It still takes forever though and it felt like I was stuck on level 50 and would never get to places like South America and Africa. In my view that is the best way to get XP and moeny at around those levels. If I didn't fill up my net I would then spend the night and fill up with Blue Catfish and Sturgeon. Croix permanent license and was there for many many days just catching Northern Pike and Muskie. 45 to 50 took me months and months of grinding. Leveling up becomes very difficult from 45 onwards.
